Looks like a feast! We used to cook up pinto's from dry and liked them, but hadn't done any for years until a couple of months ago. They're still a great side dish, or even a main course like in Costa Rica, "....friends, we have beans & rice, or we have rice and beans, whichever you want!"

On the old threads, about the only way I can find old stuff here any more is to go to the Profile, click "Started Threads" and page through.
