Kansas says vintage plates only for OEM vintage steel, in original form with only "safety & efficiency" modifications which is a recent re-write. So a guy running full fenders with a new power train and juice brakes can probably get buy, even after market wheels with bigger tires "for safety" (restorods), but a glass replica, or a highboy style forget it. And I have a pair of '33 plates that were never issued, still stuck together by the protective paper when I got them, but they're collectors items for me at this point....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I bought the 76 in August , but haven't been able to work on it. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
