Great story - new eyes in heaven for sure 'cause dogs will be in heaven. Sees with her heart. Good word and we should take that away and perhaps learn a lesson.

Know that I’ve not been here much lately as we (Joanie and I) had a tough go for the past few months in loosing Joanie’s mom, Anne. Anne was a lovely lady who was well, happy, and healthy and a vibrant part of our daily lives. Day after Christmas we had to take her to the ER as she was fainting. Doctors kept her for a week and determined that she had very low blood pressure, but couldn’t determine why. Her health deteriorated and she could no longer live alone so we moved her to an assisted living / foster home run by a little “Romanian Angel”. Long story short, Anne died February 17th, day after Joanie and my 40th anniversary. We were with her when she passed and fortunately she appeared to be calm and at peace as she let Joanie’s hand go and stepped into heaven. While she was a Godly woman and we know she went to the arms of Jesus and is once again whole and happy – it took a bit of a toll on us and I’ve been flyin’ a bit beneath the radar. It was especially hard on Joanie as the youngest child and they were very close. Those of us who’ve been married for any time at all know when the queen hurts we all hurt.

I have been “lurking” (saw your comment on Glyptal, Pat!!) and will start posting a bit and get back to speed as time with y’all is great therapy.

Sorry for the hi-jack but the dog story just brought the best out in me – I do so love dogs as they have been some of my best friends over these past sixty some years.

Regards All,
Glenn
