Well, I had never considered what to do with the critter if I had caught it! After a few minutes thinking, I grabbed a trash barrel and filled it with water. Then I was thinking how do I get that into the barrel while it's spraying everything? So I grabbed a roll of plastic and covered myself and as I was walking up to the cage I was getting sprayed and it was horrible!! I was gaspin' and gaggin' but I got it done.

Never had another issue with them after that.

Yeah, as I recall the state info on suggested methods for euthanizing a skunk didn't include that one!!
