Another saw that will cut non-ferrous metal is my little 10" Sears band saw. So far I've cut up to half inch(s-l-l-o-o-o-l-y) though 1/4 seems to cut like butter - and so far haven't hurt the wood cutting blade at all. Just have to remember to clean the chips off the wheel rubber occasionally
