Scare tactics are at the core of Chicago thug politics, but that's just the foundation. The next weeks are gonna be an all out blitz to demoralize the anti-Obama vote, and it will be relentless, dirty, and intense. Expect what's referred to as the October surprise, though this one won't be based on anything close to real such as Bush's DUI was..........it will be totally fabricated, but timed to make it difficult/maybe even impossible, to refute effectively. The mass media has shown it's corrupt nature by shielding their guy in every way possible. Just keep all this in mind as election day approaches, and don't let it get you down, or your friends/acquaintances.......................everyone who cares about keeping us from becoming the mess that is Greece/Spain (and most of Southern Europe before it's done) needs to turn out and do the turn out of the old for the new. And if the new guy doesn't get it done, out he'll go too in another 4 years (or two if you're in a similar situation for a Representative, six for Senate).................it's up to responsible voters. Vote, vote, vote! Let the lefties and their subjects get over confident............enough of them will stay home to give us a hand if we take advantage of it.

unemployment rates show nothing really. as far as the number of people employed it is the worst in 25 years. i'm not buying it just dropped. hiring is still flat and will go lower but you wont see those numbers. it's ok though. texas is still adding jobs and perry is still telling obama to stuff it.

I am NOT a fan of M.R. as he is a career politician and certainly doesn't need our money! So why would he want to be the president? Yep, he's on a power trip imho..,

The only (grudgingly) good thing I can say would be about his experience(s) with parties from around the world, I'm almost certain he could corral squirrels if he had to!

I actually feel / felt betrayed by him and his administration here in Mass as I was on the side that fought against his insurance plan. I still don't believe it's constitutional but there's no way any minority group (republicans) is going to get it turned over / repealed.

So I am trying to restate, M.R. is NOT a Republican and he is NOT a democrat, imho he will say whatever it takes, dependant on who's standing in front of him. AKA a Politician!

i think they all are. health insurance aside . did he improve the economy ? i hear your schools are top shelf. ours suffer because of the high number of kids with little english skills. but then i feel government interference in any of it is wrong.
people dont like perry but the economy here is pretty stable. our problem is folks following the jobs here.
what i want from romney is this
stabilize the economy
secure our borders
follow the constitution
and most of all cowboy up and tell iran to eat a fish along with the rest.

obama has not and can not do any of the above. he is an empty suit living off the 47% and doing nothing for them .

and for the record i dont want another politician in there. i voted for ross for boss . we need a business mind to dig out of this.

I do not believe he improved much of anything. Businesses were heading off shore at that time, but, I do not remember him leaving office with a deficit.

Schools here in New Bedford have had as much as a 30% drop out rate! The current state gov't. enforces a standards test before kids can graduate H.S., so they teach'em exactly what is in the test. No more / No less... what local businesses end up hiring is somebody who is so out of touch with todays reality, they're really handicapped and the employers have to teach them everything all over again! Many communities are now rebelling against the govenors standards. Another example of our schools and what's being taught is the schools have to teach a language, so the portuguese kids get taught.... portuguese! And the spanish speaking children are taught... Spanish! They are all bi-lingual anyway 'cause their also taught english.. but the mono-lingual kids can choose from french or spanish for a second language...

And of course very few of them can add or subtract without a handheld calculator! Or make change.. or read a non-digital watch... so I cannot say our schools are any better than yours, just a different set of "immigrants".

i thought he made it very clear where the money will come from. an expanded tax base has always brought prosperity to the nation. more people working and paying their taxes instead of setting home living off the government and paying nothing. that in it's self is the root cause for the problems. i can assure you when you raise taxes on business it will come from their budget not profits. people whine and complain because a large business will get an extended tax break to locate in a city . what they fail to understand is the 500 jobs they bring will generate far more tax revenue than any other tax on a business . it is just how it is done . always has been always will be .
if you think obama is looking out for the middle class you need to look closer . as a small business owner i am square in the middle of his cross hairs.

Anyone can take “facts” and spin them in a favorable light (percentages vs actual numbers etc.) From the looks of it even though the percentages of unemployed look better than previous months, it still appears that there are 2,000,000 more people out of work now than there were before the current president took office. I couldn’t find figures on the number of people on section 8 housing to compare, but it appears I’m putting more roofs over peoples heads and paying for their supper than I have in the past. The national debt is 5Trillion dollars more than it was 4 years ago, our borders are still not secure and my tax dollars are being spent to educate kids that aren’t supposed to be here rather than providing quality education for my US citizen grandchildren. On average I am paying far more for commodities than I was 4 years ago.

Can Obama turn the country around given 4 more years…….or if he’s given the chance will he just become the new “previous president excuse” for the next president to fall back on to say don’t blame me I inherited this mess.

Those numbers don't lie and more taxes on the rich is not the answer, putting more people to work is. I'm not interested in who did what 6, 8, 10 years ago, but I am interested in your plan to put people back to work, closing the border, developing our known oil reserves, and eliminating burdensome bureaucracies and regulations that are dragging this country down. Tax, tax, tax is not the answer, never has been and never will be.

I would like nothing better then to see the government get out of NPR, PBS and the NEA, a total waste of taxes. If these programs or products are so wonderful and needed so badly people will buy the product and these propaganda machines will survive.

Remember Air America, the perfect example of a lefty propaganda machine and the viability of it's products and services. A full course and example of Capitalism 101, say I do not seem to be able find that show anymore. What happen to it?

What big bird cannot survive, could it be it is a lousy program and that's the reason? ........ Oh the thought. How about PBS in general, that thing constantly has a bunch of beggars hawking their services. Crap give me commercials on PBS, more interesting and informative. PBS, and the military among us will understand the next few words, is nothing more then a group of Hey Joe's found in every port overseas.

During my lifetime, All Presidents have issued Executive Orders, for reasons
that vary, some more than others.

When a President issued as many as 30 Ex. Orders during a term in Office,
people thought there was something Amiss.

What did Congress do in those 40 months? (The House - considerable. The Senate
-nothing, not even a budget nor allowing any House bill to be considered.) A
whole new order must prevail in Wash. DC as a result of this next election! Now
look at these:

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of
transportation and control of highways and seaports.
-EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the
communication media.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power,
gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and
farms.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work
brigades under government supervision.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education
and welfare functions.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the registration of all persons. Postmaster General to
operate a national registration
-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to
take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate
communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be
abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland
waterways and public storage facilities.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal
departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued
over a fifteen year period.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency
Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in
times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce
the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to
establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate
penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

-EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to
develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and
distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money

I can't vouch for anything that's in there, Mike, and I can't dispute anything that's in there either. My own contribution to that lengthy speech consists of the three sentences above the dotted line.

I will agree with you, if there are inaccuracies in it or if there are not, it's still enough to scare the britches off of just about anybody.
