This is just going off the news's broadcasts. A lot of people are not voting 'for' Romney, but rather, they are voting against Obama. I'm kind of in the middle. Some things Romney does I don't agree with, but others I do.. Many don't like the fact he has been successful, some are stuck on his tax returns. I think, with a more likable candidate, they wouldn't be neck in neck, and republicans would take office, end of story..

Like or dislike doesn't have thing to do with unless you're talking about a popularity contest. I'm not into communism or socialism or whatever tack the clown in the White House is proposing. And I sure am getting sick and tired of the rich versus the poor BS. How many people have ever been offered a well paying job from someone that is poor? That's what Capitalism is all about, you want to be successful get off your butt and work for it.Ken Thomas

Interesting! Capitalism is who dies with the most money WINS! Romney was born with money(he wins)Do you think a successful person really wants to pay you well(or has to ,to compete) Communism-socialism,If you are working for someone and get laided off (not your fault, economy, slow times, ect) un employment check not welcome? Natural disaster(tornado, flood, snow!!) Government help? I'm not talking freeloaders I;m talking hard working people that might need some help!! Is Obama the Man? Maybe not!! I's Romney NO!! Pete

Romney has been successful and is rich so he must be bad.. ... Possibly, just Possibly we can look at that and say, he knows how to handle money. Romneys policies are not bad. The country is 16 trillion in debt and quite a bit is to china, Cuts have to be made.. 8% of those without jobs have given up looking. ... Did I say he was Bad!! If your in the one percent Romney is your man!! Is he really successful?? What could you do starting out a million air!! Donald Trump is very successful(started out with 4 million plus from Daddy) These men have something in them now doubt!!(If I had that much money to start I be dead!!) Will Romney create Jobs? He sure will! Low paying jobs! He want to stop prevailing wage jobs(federal jobs paying union scale)The non union worker gets union scale plus benefits in there check,$30.00,$40.00,$50.00 an hour, the union gets nothing from this only that the bids are more competitive with union shops! Unions make up about 20% of the work force!! Who loses?? Pete

The days of any poor person being elected to office are over. It matters little how these men made their money, they have it and that's what it will take to help buy the office for which they're running.

Are you saying that you want to continue paying Federal employees the highest possible wages that we can? That's taxpayer money that we're borrowing from the Orient to pay those wages. Do you think that's smart? In my opinion, unions outlived their usefulness after we passed laws to protect minors in the workplace. Since then, they have simply jacked up the price of everything to pay for fatcat lifestyles for the union leaders and made us far less competitive in the world marketplace. Between union fees and dues and corporate taxes, I have no idea how the United States can compete on ANY level with ANY product.

I know, I was only basing that off of the News reporting. I generally do not watch political news reporting from the television , but if you flip on the TV and watch it that's the kind of thing that's brought up. Like you, I plainly do not agree with the way Obama is taking the country. I think this country does need a businessman in office. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
