i really dont think texas needs any more oil . not sure what this pipeline is about. we are a net exporter of oil and gasoline now . something brought up by a friend who's family is in the business got me thinking. he said one of the reasons they want this pipeline is to reduce storage in the midwest. once that happens the price of diesel and fuels there will go up. which will kill the farmers and ranchers. now i would vote for a bald baboon before voting for obama so i give no credit to him on this. but i just dont know about this thing. there is no storage available for oil here that i know of. hell this state is one big oil field and then we have the gulf. i have a feeling this pipeline was for only one purpose , canada selling oil to china. we buy very little oil from the east. the lions share is from canada, mexico and south america. something to think about.
