Even the NHRA TF and funny cars have to run Goodyears. You're right - it is a monopoly - and they are a problem there as well

I've gotten to the point that I wont even consider Goodyears on any car that I own. The last were on my past (new) 2 p/ups. They got so hard that the painted road centerline, if it was wet, was like ice. Then they were noisy beyond belief. I have Continentals on my present F350 - and at 47K still seem to be good
