I drive the absolute shit out of my Hot Rod. It's so dinged up we are going to repaint the entire car this winter. One of the things I enjoy most is seeing it bring joy to others. Here are a couple of videos that illustrate what I mean.

I always said the Devil drove a Mustang. Anyhow, we sat at the light Minding our own business and damned, a Red 5.0 shows up. We've been woring on the EFI fuel return for two weeks trying to get it and the filler neck in line to fill, drain, and accept the return fuel better. We are pretty near to success. I was ignoring the Mustang, but he bumped the light. I hollered over to Ethyl.."don't look Ethyl," but it was too late, she done loaded up. Anyhow short 1-2 from the dig verified several things. First, aeration in the fuel from the poorly installed return line had reduced quite a bit. The car was a beast coming off the light. Second, I'm getting better at launching. 5.0 Mustangs are no joke, I was very proud to hang with him 1n 1-2.

Just to understand, you must believe that you've been exposed to Covid19 in order to schedule to be tested "tomorrow", now today. Knowing you'd been exposed, but not knowing if you're contagious you decided to go out cruising, and then to get involved in a high speed stoplight street race which could have easily ended up with an up close and personal discussion with the police, or worse an accident that put you in close contact with a larger number of first responders, all while you could be contagious with Covid19. Seriously?

Minor victory of sorts. We added the sniper EFI last fall with the stroker motor. Over time, the return feed that we mounted in the filler tube became overwhelming as it forced too much fuel in the filler tube. Based on the design it was hard to get the tube to drain properly. The result was fuel pooling in the tube itself as there was a backwards slope towards the gas cap. Worked a couple of weeks here and was able to fabricate a tube with a bung that was oriented towards the filler opening in the Gas tank, hoping that the majority of the return fuel would blow back into the tank. Still had to wrestle with getting the tube mounted so it would have enough fall from cap to inlet to actually drain. Problem is when I would tighten the clamps around the hose to tube transitions it would bind the whole tube upward. I finally developed a series of supports for the bottom of the tube and adjust mints over the top to force the top of the tube down into the supports. I still have about 1/16th of an inch to go before I get a proper drainage. We are also looking at modifying the sending unit by adding a return bung to it to be able to remove the return line from the tube altogether. Filled the tank up last night and the big difference is time to fill the tank has gone from 5 minutes to about 2.

I am completely satisfied. That isn’t to say that things could go wrong, however, the install paid close attention to grounding and have had no issues.
