Most EFI systems use distributor set up many degrees in advance-they then can control the timing by retarding the spark with the unit--------no way to make it fire sooner than where its actually set but it can be electronily retarded
Also-----please put a double return spring on your throttle cable-- in a system that has a cable, there is no back up for the return in case of any malfuntion
I like those double ones where small diameter coil is inside the larger one----
Love the front suspension!!!!!!!!!!!!
WRP, sorry to hear about your wife but i'm glad she didn't have any worse damage and she is on the mend. The new engine sounds great. Those side panels will be awesome!

I would not be disappointed with those numbers. Given you lose about 20% through the drive train, you probably have around 400-415 hp at the flywheel. Any more hp and torque in a light car like yours won't gain you much other than bragging rights because you won't be able to plant it and you'll simply wind up with more wheel spin. IMO, your headers and exhaust are sized appropriately for your engine. You can also lose some performance by going to large on your headers and exhaust. It sounds like you have it dialed in rather nicely.
Yep, what /\ he said.. my thoughts exactly.
IMO Lynn & Mike are on target, but I'd take it to a shop that has a lift and let them set the pinion angle. Unless you just like spending money changing things leave the exhaust alone, quit messing with things and enjoy driving it.
JMHO, wrong pinion angle not only robs HP, it will wear things out prematurely, U joints, transmission tailshaft bushings/bearing, pinion bearings, just to name a few. If it were me, it would be the first on the list to fix...
