We’re lucky to have a lot of weekly and monthly gatherings in Florida. I could honestly hit one about 5 nights a week if I wanted too.Steve

Thanks Seth. I’m sure it’ll never be fully done, lol! At some point I’ll pull the body back off and paint it.
Biffs holds their cruise in every Friday night all year. It’s a really neat open air bar and burger joint. They have live music, and awesome burgers and beer and ice cream and such. The parking lot is usually overflowing on Fridays. It was half empty this past Friday. Maybe due to the Corona virus.
Part of the reason I’ve been wanting to get this car on the road is for an event this coming July. My high school Auto teacher is putting on a car/motorcycle/boat or whatever show for the 50th anniversary of the St. John’s High School Automotive Program. That’s up in Michigan. He’s doing a great job of promoting this, and all of his former students are invited. I’m planning on driving the T up to Michigan and back, to attend this show.Steve

All of this CV stuff going on has a guy really bummed out. Hopefully it is better before June. I'm going to be hostile that I actually have 2 things drive able to take to my favorite show 4th of July weekend and it could be cancelled. We are going to back to the 50s in Minnesota in June too. Hopefully things turn around by then.Ryan

It sounds kind of selfish, but I hope they don't get canceled either. I've been working on the kitchen in our house all winter, and I was really looking forward to some road trips with Rita. Back to the '50s in Minnesota is one of them.Seth

I took my wife to the drive-in theater in Ruskin, Florida. Neither of us had been to one of those in about 40 years!

Well, you can't get frisky in that thing because everyone can see you

That's pretty cool.
I don't think there is an open drive-in anywhere near me. Used to be a bunch. One of these days I have to find one that I can take my wife to. She's never been to one.Mike

Thunderstorm Thursday! LOL
I’m currently hanging out at a gas station waiting for the rain to ease up. A couple of bikers are here doing the same.

Been there, done that!
Got caught in a hail storm in our T in Mountain Home, Arkansas once. That was definitely no fun. Took shelter under a closed up gas station canopy as soon as I saw it. I pulled in a little too far and water was dripping off of the canopy onto my wife. She was complaining about getting wet. I told her to look on the bright side, at least she wasn't getting hailed on!

When I had my Track-T, it seemed like I couldn't leave the house without getting wet.
In 2018 I got wet every time I drove it from mid-March until early October. I would leave the house when there wasn't a cloud in the sky and I would be soaked before I got home.
When I was trying to sell it, I would park it in the front yard with a sign on it and in 20 minutes or so it would be raining!
Because of that, the '32 I'm building changed from a roadster to a 3-window coupe when I ordered the body...
