[QUOTE=53 Chevy5;569095]I can see it now, I couldn't figure out how it was a roll over and most of the damage was to the drivers side. It's amazing you walked away from that one. I sent a 71 Camaro to the bone yard to due to the same reasons you rolled your yours. Frosty roads, too much to drink, speed and field driveway. Mine wasn't nearly as bad as yours though. It's kinda funny though, today you have a Tudor your working on in your garage and I have a 71 Camaro on deck for my garage. I guess we never really get over those first cars.[/QUOTE

Yeah, after crashing the '39, I got busy looking for a replacement. I found the '37, which was close enough to use salvageable parts from the '39 but yet different enough to make it feel like a different car. My dad & I proceeded to build the '37, which is the same car I'm rebuilding again. The 71 Camaro sounds sweet! Is it an SS? Have you posted pics?

I took some pics tonight, It's a true R/S but does not have the original motor so I think I'm going to put an LS1 in it. It's from the high desert in Arizona so it's a pretty solid car, just melted by the sun.

This will be a sweet ride! Why stop at LS1? How about LS3 or LS6?? It's only money, right?...and HP! Love the split bumper. These were such a big change from the '67-'69 but can really look cool!
