Started framing a bed today. The 3" tubing comes very close to replicating the body line on the cab.

The main structure of the bed is together and welded in to place. I mocked up one of the 4 rear fenders in place to mark the upper bed rail. The fenders will penetrate the upper rail.

Made 4 narrow trailer fenders in to 2 wide fenders. More bed progress.

Looking bad ass! Beefy back end makes it have a tough look to it! It's fun watching your build thread, keep on posting. Thanks, Steve.

I'm going to reach back into time & drag out & dust off an old cliché out from the 80's & 90's.

Todays progress. Started making paper templates for the bed sides. Welded in one of the lower bed rockers which incorporates the lower radiator mount.

Installed the radiator today with a fabricated upper brace. Also went to the parts store and got a hand full of hoses that might work. Just had to bend up a piece of 1 3/4" aluminized exhaust tubing to go from the water pump, under the oil pan and over to the radiator.

These are the isolators that I used. Both came from Summit

This bed side will need to be louvered or punched. There are two electric fans yet to be installed along with the a/c condenser.

I really like the receiver hitch - can't wait to see what you're going to tow with this bad boy!

I have a single axle lawn mower trailer that will just hold this 400 hp V8 Daihatsu Hijet. I am trying real hard to get things together enough to make it to Crusin' the Coast in October.
