Unfortunately, you have posted into someone else's thread and your question may not get the attention it deserves. While your problem could be a ground issue, I suspect a burned wire or a tach failure causing your greif. Try disconnecting the tach wire and see if it fires.

And, may I suggest you start a new thread for your question, it will get a lot more attention...

Quick update on the V8 Micro Truck. I have been driving it quite a bit and it is definitely an adrenalin machine. It actually has excellent traction, so sadly not a tire roaster, but more than makes up for it in acceleration. With the 66" wheelbase and 48" track, it is quite a handful. Currently working on an engine cover made of aluminum treadplate so that it will look like a toolbox in the bed. The plan is to paint it white and maybe even bend up a ladder rack for the bed to further the sleeper image.

That big tall air filter makes me grin. That has always been one of my pet peeves, not enough air filter element area for the cubic inches. Excellent work dude.

I have a theory with air filters, if you can't hear the carb hum it's probably too small...

Added a transmission to the Tiny Truck of Terror and made to Cab and Bed tilt for easy engine access.

Still a bit of photo manipulation here but it is close to this in reality

Very creative with the tilt function.
I really like the tire / wheel combo. Is that part of the photoshop?

Thanks! No, the only photoshop part is filling the gap between the bed and cab (the part covering the exposed bed rails)
