A better shot of the slot and mounting tabs. I may add a couple of tabs to the other side if I have the room. Some screws painted to match the dash and you will hardly see them....that's the plan anyway.

...or countersunk screws, bonded to the dash as studs, filled, smoothed and painted makes them not even there from the top side. Either works, just options and ideas. I like the big diffuser units!

Nice idea but I don't think I could get my hand up there the thread on a nut. Once installed it's gonna be tight. You gave me food for thought anyway. You never know I may make it work. Thanks
