I really like the base plate. I was wondering what you were going to use to keep them from cracking the hood. I figured you had some thing up your sleeve. Also, in the pics of your air cleaner base build, what are the aluminum tubes with the 6 bolt(?) flanges that were sitting on the back of the bench for? Those look like great pieces that will lead to something cool too.
