To bad about the beer being overheated too!:LOL:**):p
Finely got the high gloss black back on my old gal ,after a few weeks of sanding and filling, needs some buffing out yet,but pretty good anyway being painted in my back yard, even got a buddy hotrodder John Fenner to come over and help do some spraying, man its nice to have help:D Back yard fun.
Looks good, Bat! Good idea on the aluminum foil "masking". I'll have to remember that one....
Looking good Bat! Now it's time to get things together for the final time again?????
Put some parts back on,an started on my upholstery. Here is a look at the panels an rug, I just did. Got to do seats next.
Looking good and at the speed you are going you will be back cruising the Florida Keys with your Son real soon.
It looks really nice! The black really sets that wood work off too!
Ditto! Looks very nice, like the wood too!
When doing the panels,I had a lot prob's with the back side of the prepleated yellow,it has a very thin backing that screws up EZ in the feet of sewingmachine:eek:. I found a work around by adding 2in. masking tape to the back on were my edge is and I'm going to sew.:D This work well,so now I did the seats too.
Nice touch Bat
Looks great, Bat. This is just a guess, but I'm betting this car is a lot nicer than when you built it the first time...
The interior really came out nice, Bat!!!!!!
There are for sure some nicer parts;,New steeringwheel n column, the high polish stainless steel was only some alum sheet way back, the rims were just steel, and my upholstery is a lot better now,I made better headers this time,,I've added the aircleaner on a 4bbl///had 2x4 set up wayback with no aircleaners at all,but there long gone n way too high $ to get back.
The rest is pretty much as it was.
One things for sure.. You won't lose it in a parking lot! :D
Looks great now!
