Next is the floor , I was thinking the sheet metal and since that involved a lot of driving to a friends to use his bead roller and bender I cheated and went with a Direct sheet metal kit . The panels all fit perfect except one I will pie cut and fill it in .
I took some solvent and a wire brush and cleaned it up some .


Just laid them in for a look-see

Bobby - you might consider just bolting the floorboards in as it really makes doing some chassis work a breeze rather then having to flex those creaky knees and roll under the car - you can always use some 1/2" angle if you feel you need some added strength at the bolting edges. The 'boards that Brookville installed in mine were totally replaced by stronger piecesLast edited by IC2; 04-19-2011 at 05:21 AM.
