    Bobby,
This build is coming along great. If that first buyer sees this he is going to want it back. Does that fiber wheel take only paint off or does it take metal off too? Good thread, keep it going.

    Jack.

Jack yes paint and rust stripper . Don ( itoldyouso ) was the one I heard them from and picked some up . If your go higher RPM and snag it the material will break off and sting so wear clothing .

Like all removal tools though you keep it moving as not to create heat in the panel . It took the paint off this A with no effort and leaves a really clean panel .

Randy I just used my electric angle grinder . Spun it at 20K rpm but never had it come apart from that .

Great progress Bobby. Almost makes me wish I had kept my slant windshield 'A' - and a sedan could eventually replace my roadster if for no other reason then leg room (but maybe not )

Even Home Depot carries those in their tool section, right where the grinding discs are. They are blue. I have also used the black ones, which are more agressive, but hard to find. As Bobby said, wear long sleeves and eye protection, the little pieces fly off and sting pretty good sometimes.

    Bobby,
Checked at the local H F and they don't have them, they had 4 1/2 twist lock but no backer plate. Went to H F online and no luck. Are you sure it was harbor Freight?

Home Depot and Lowe's both (at least locally) have 3M or Norton discs or wheels
