Steve-I know its a little late for your buid, but for any one coming along later and reading your thread--You can put oil into engine threw the breathers by removing the topcover--Sometimes it takes a little mod to do but it with a little calm it works--------

Also for some retro look---you can get chrome wheel nut covers that will fit over the head studs/nuts---

Yeah I have to do it that way on Sues car through the Moon breathers Jerry but its a pain so thought I would add a wide neck filler, it's 2" dia so easy to get it in.
Yeah I have those nut covers in stock but the biggest I have found are 11/16 and the nuts are 3/4, if you know of anywhere selling bigger please let me know, I might bore out some M20 stainless acorn nuts.
