That's a fairly common occurrence when mounting those type rocker assemblies on several engines----FE ford engines especially---got to clear the hardware used, generally will clear OEM, but nearly everyone that goes to rockers like that have head studs that stick up too far-----

Maybe so Jerry but a little more thought and machining would of made it a bolt on, it wasn't a big deal for me to mill them out but they were sold as a bolt on and they didn't !!! Not everyone has a milling machine at their disposal do they ?
