302 ideas
Ok, I have a few different options for my 302. I am sure now that I want to run some better heads. I could go with the heads kurts buddy has or buy a different set. I was looking at the world products windsor jr. 180s. They have 58cc combustion chambers, 180cc intake and 1.94/1.60 valves. And they are pretty budget friendly at 409.99 each.
I just need to know if they will be ok for a daily driver. I am concerned with the compression ratio (pump gas). Should I run dished or flat top pistons? and what cam would work well with either choice? I would like to run my stock converter, but would consider a cheap stal. Here is an idea I have.
flat top hyperutectics and stock bottom end
windsor jr. 180s
magnum comp cam adv. dur 280 .512lift rpm range 2000-6000
1.6 ratio roller rockers
performer rpm intake
holley street avenger 670 vac sec
long tube 1 5/8 long tubes
2 1/4 dual exhuast
Please, make some suggestions. I would rather this get picked to death than build it and have an explosion
you gotta love how this list gets more expensive every time I type it

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
