The E3 manifold was first cast in 1983, so it could be an '83 engine.

    Thanks R Pope,

i was just told about the width last night by somebody, they were saying the 351 would be around 9 inches across the top of the manifold from man. bolt to man. bolt, and the 302 were around 7 inches measured the same way, is this correct or does anybody have a more accurate dimension??

i wish the motor was at my house...but its not, so i'll pass this info off to my buddy, thanks,

Jason are you out there, did you measure it or take a valve cover off, post up, what kind of motor is it....its starting to drive me crazy
