In 80 Ford changed the balance on the 302 so an 80's flywheel will not be balanced right for a 60's small block.

Flywheel from any 79 or older car should work. Trucks use a bigger flywheel. As for the linkage I would try to find a bellhousing for the mechanical lickage stock to a 66Mustang that the 5 speed would bolt to. Then use stock pedal parts. I don't know what's available. Keep asking people, I know its been done, just don't know the details of how
