In that list of cars you had...lots of Fords, then a Mopar and Chevy's ever since. What did that Mopar do to you?

I sold off my last little bit of slot car stuff last year on Ebay. I was AMAZED at what it went for! No wonder I couldn't find any track or anything at flea markets and such!

I always played at home or with friends. I somehow came after the 1/18 tracks and before the 1/24 so no local hobby shops had tracks (that i know of) - except RC car tracks, lots of them around (inside: dirt, carpet, pulling, outside:gas pavement and dirt.)

RC can be fun, but to be competitive you have as much in your hand as you might in a rat rod, and a real car has more appeal to me that an RC one.

always wanted an RC tank that shot Paint balls - maybe the size of the little tank in the one episode of hogan's heros....
