I had a few tricks too... I had installed a set of ball berrings in the ends of the axle tubes instead of using the brass bushings that came in the cars when they were new... The races were set up by a time limit and the power to the track was shut off at the end and your laps were counted... My cars would coast about a half lap after the power was off... Nobody could ever figure out why!!!
