I had a secret that I never revealed till now. I took a few windings off the rotor. I tested them on my own track with a voltmeter. The modified motor drew more amps than stock and turned up faster. I could measure the amps drop on the other side of the track when I pulled the trigger. That made the competition slower. If I took off too many windings the motor would fry.
