I wouldn't think that a 3800foot elevation change would be a very noticeable impact. Driving KC to Denver is a 4000 foot change, and I never noticed anything different coming & going; but when we drove up Mount Evans to 14,500 the old Dodge 383 was idling at about 300rpm - barely heard it running, and accelerated reeeeally slow & sluggish. Still started and ran OK, though...
