As far as *trying* a new carb, unless you spend the time and $ to tune it to your engine/needs, it might very well be a useless exercise - let's hope it comes out of the box ready to run as is. How often has that worked for you? Me, not so much...

Fieroboy, it seems you have a narrow issue, your fuel curve; tune your carb and go have fun - I guarantee you, it won't be the last issue you'll have with a unique build, but have fun in the process

Yea doing that to summit would be like buying a suit for one occation to look pretty an then returning it. Im not in to the scam artist kinda thing. I have a guy coming over tonight thats a local stock car racer at our local track an he said hes really good with the BB motors he's coming over with a avenger series carb he said the DP carb is probably too much. he said he's bringing a 750 avenger. I said I already have a 750 DP but he said a DP will dump more fuel even if there the same CFM so an I think I might just run straight pipes out the side of the car behind the rear tires. an use a super trap style exhaust resonator tip with the plates an what not to try an quiet it down. I dont mind the soundI can only drive it 20 miles at a time any way.
