Hi Guys,

I have a new Stromberg 97 on a 3x2 set up. I have adjusted the mixture idle as per the manufacturer recommendations however I can't seem to get the idle to slow. I have backed off the idle screw so that the bracket is not even in contact with it. I noticed that I can push the bracket clockwise, down towards the manifold which gives me the slower RMP I'm after, though I feel like i'm going bend something. And upon releasing pressure, the RPM will return.

I guess my question is...where do start? I'm at work now but I thought I would pull the carb off the manifold to see if there is anything blocking the butterfly valve open.
