    it is a mechanical fuel pump. it is a barry grant 750 cfm demon carb. it doesnt have a choke to it.

    sorry and sea level means that it came from 0 altitude and i live at 4000 ft altitude

    I have heard many complaints of demon carbs recently. You might want to take it apart and make sure it is free from contamination and has the right jets etc ............
