If that's true, then don't even consider rebuilding the 305. Any garden variety 350 will make more power due not only to cubic inches, but in the way the fuel/air charge gets through the intake valve better without the valve shrouding associated with the small bore of the 305.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
