I would get a new basic 350/260hp crate engine. You can add the goodies you like, carb, cam, etc. Since it will be going into a S10, GM will give you a 3 yr 50,000 mile warranty to go with it. Cost for the basic engine about $1500. Goodies extra.
If you can't do new, go get a nice used one and add the goodies to bring up to your specs. But for the money and the warranty, the crate is hard to beat.Last edited by mopar34; 07-03-2007 at 10:16 AM.
