I have had a MSD 6200 (aka 6A) on my 57 Oldsmobile since 1994 and it has never skipped a beat. Mine has been absolutely reliable and with the addition of a Pertronix electronic distributor conversion kit added in 1999, it has been hazzle free. The pertronix kit was added to the original (1957) distributor.
