no it was not running when the water hit it. I recently changed carbs to the old one to see it anything would happen.. is it possible that I could have melted the manifold gaskets? using wd 40 in the valley's the motor will continue to run. if not used will not idle at all. I plugged off all vaccum lines to elimnate a possible leak there.
