I received a book as as Christmas gift ,Cars of the fabulous 50s,It shows the 56 Chrysler 300B 354hemi having a 355hp option.I was telling a friend about about this today and He says He had just seen on a program this week that 57 Chevy was the first to have 1 hp per ci.I guess they have been feeding us this mis-information for a long time. Maybe I should check more closely. I might find that a 50 Crosley with 44 ci developed 426.5 hp. if it does I want one. After all they did make a Super Sport.
