Aw geez, Uncle Bob !!! You know I could never say something like that. Though I will say working on Dave T's '53 Chrysler Hemi car is a real hoot!!!! The engineering on the car is light years ahead of what anyone else was running back in the day. Those fellers at Chrysler really had their ship together. We are in the process now of lowering the suspension a tad, and updating to 4 wheel disc brakes. The power brakes on the car appear to be a hydro-vac style unit, and the power steering is a work of art!!!! I've had both '53 Fords and Mercs, but comparing them to the Chrysler is like comparing a box of rocks to a string of pearls......Which is a heck of a lot coming from a die hard blue oval guy like me.........
Gotta go now, Uncle Bob. It's 4:30 AM and time for all good insomniacs to be heading out to the shop to get some work done before the "day shift" shows up. Bring donuts if ya stop by this morning.........Last edited by Dave Severson; 01-22-2005 at 03:16 AM.
