I have read that, and a mis adjusted one is trans-fatal. But having read teh -how to- regarding adjustment, it seems pretty damn simple. and since it is, how it would eat a trannie is beyond me, unless it was WAY out of whack.

I mean, you adjust it for hte carb in question - no mention of cam or carb tuning. As i slowly get my q-jet right, i am moving the powerband up the rev range and making to trans changes...just seems odd, as the vac type systems auto-adjust and change as the engine tune changes.
