Well I finally got enough time to try the jeep tie rod with the unisteer. Got tied up with the corvette and had to put an engine in the 32. The jeep tie rod does increase the steering a lot, well worth the effort, however! I could not use it on my car, I found that as the tie rod moved in the arc it twisted down at the jeep (passenger) side hitting the lower chrome four link, ok bend the steering arm up? couldn't do that on my car as then the tie rod would hit the harmonic balancer. I kept looking for ways to solve this issue and I couldn't do it without making more modifications than I wanted to. Its worth doing, as long as your engine is back far enough or high enough to clear the tie rod in its arc or your steering arm is higher than mine, . The only way to know is to mock it up, hope this helps.
