    Lol, he seems to have a lot of knowledge on engines but he's not giving me the info I want. He's telling me about ls stuff but I want info on sbc 350 which is what I'm going with. But thank you NTFDAY.

    One of the reasons he's so reluctant is because of the break-in required for a non roller engine. It's extremely critical for a flat tappet cam to keep from wiping lobes which then entails tearing the engine back down and cleaning up the mess. Also today's pump gas will not support high compression ratios which are required to run high lift wild cams. They'll still run, just be dogs and that's the main reason why he's suggesting an LS engine.
