at a 1200 rpm idle, are you sure your car is even idleing on the idle circuit of the carb? sounds like you're trying to tune it in an off idle.... then when you drop it in gear you're getting into the idle circuit where its not tuned to runjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
