Nope, I don't got to love them sbc's.... But a track that has cars running at 136 mph lap averages the middle of the turn must be like running on a vertical wall, and the straights would have banking like the turns in Bristol!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, must say you didn't quite have me sold on the 13.2 laps for a 1/2 mile, that's for sure..... Huset's Speedway, one of our local 3/8 mile bull rings is notoriously fast..... It's dirt, and if memory serves me correctly, the World of Outlaw Sprints circle the place in something like the mid 11's!!!!! At the ripe old age of 17 I set fast time there one night in a modified, 15.4!!!! How times change, the 360 sprints are running faster now!!!! Huset's has been a race track since the 50's and has so much rubber mixed in with the racing surface now that by feature time the track will slick off, then about half way through the main there's enough rubber on the track that you tune the chassis as you would a pavement car!!!! And use up a $250 right rear tire every feature!!!!!Last edited by Dave Severson; 03-08-2008 at 08:00 PM.

Well I've sure gotten old too so don't worry about it! I've had two bypass surgeries, new knees, fought prostate, cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine,...
