Ooooh! I hit a nerve! :D
When I talk about a motor, unless I say different, it's factory stock motor's!
We build our own turbo's, and they are use around the world in racing and street cars, anyone can take any motor, and make it put out more horse power than yours, then If you do the same to yours. :HMMM:
We have a 3.0 that dyno'd at 700+hp, we also have a I6 that puts out 1300hp. You can make any motor put out more hp, and then compare it to one thats stock or near stock. That just don't make sense.
I have and do own Chevy's, Fords, Mopars, VWs, BMW, I have owned over 100 vehicles and drove them all! The doggiest car of them all is my '87 Mustang with a 302, and it runs mint, I would not pull up next to anything to run it!!! My sisters '68 Mustang with a 289 is quicker. It won't even come close to my flat 4 ACVW! :D
I did have a Ford 302 back in the 70's that was quick, but nothing close to my '65 Chevelle with a 283 with over 250,000 miles, both were 2bl's. I had a '67 RS/SS 350 Camaro, that would stomp 396's and a lot of sb's, Ford & Chevy. But I'm talking stock!!!
Oh, the 289 that didn't float, it had rods out the pan. :p
