    Use the same ideas that you would approach the two piece Gen1 engines. Cam, carb, and head work, etc. Forged cranks are a bit more scarce but can be found with a bit or searching. I own one for use in a later project. Got it out of a C-50 truck.

    Thanks for the info . I hope that this engine has a forged crank . But its a 1/2 ton with an auto trans . So I think not . Do you like the OEM roller cam set up . Or would you go with a flat tappet cam ?
