When I was driving my 56 chevy belair this weekend on the way home from the cruise down telegraph and northline it now grinds slighty when i shift from 3rd to 4th. I have not been abusing it and the hurst shifter and the muncie trans only has about 4,000 miles on it. I jacked it up and adusted the yelllow( 3rd and 4th gear) bracket arm and also the bolt that controls the shift distance when i adjusted the bolt in I lost 1st and all other gears so Ive been gadjusting it out, I have all my gears back except it still grinds when I shift from 3rd to 4th. It also looks like im 2 to 3 threads past its orginal position but when its there it grinds horriblably. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! THANKS
