600 grit,it depends on if it is done manually or with a machine.I.M.O. the final finish is more important than the angle.Originally posted by MadMax
Just got a couple of questions regarding honing:
I intend to use Moly rings, standard thickness, .060 overbored, with hyper pistons.
What grit honing stones should I use?
What angle should the crosshatch be?
How critical is the angle?
