once again I have a problem with my SBC.....recently I could not get the starter to line up and it tore up my flywheel bad. I took it to a shop since I work all of the time....and before they even started they noticed that the piece coming off of the block on the passenger side that the starter bolts to....had a crack in it. In my area there is nobody willing to weld this crack up with the engine in the vehicle and I cannot take it out right now. Is there any other way to fix/ fill this hole so that it can be drilled and re tapped? Any creative, or informative ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again in advance.
