so today I tried to use the magnum steel at the bequest of my mother and it failed miserably. When I tried to drill it out, the bit cocked over and ripped the cast piece off. This all leads me to ask what you mean by peening it. I am not the welder but I do want to let the friend who is doing it to know how to do it. What EXACTLY should I ask the guy at the welding supply for as for rod?
