NO the best way to fix this is with 99 nickel rod weld mold 700 rod. not stainless may not be very easy to tap if you have to or brass works good here is a oil rail i fix with this rodOriginally posted by 1985_CarbStang
that's kinda' what I was afraid of. Do you happen to know what you need to weld this. One of my buddies is a welder at Warn Cat and said that you basically just use TIG with a stainless rod? (he gave me specifics about the type of rod.....but needless to say that went right over my head!!!)
